Meet Tim.
I’m a former startup founder. I was fortunate to cofound a startup that we built to over 400 people and $400M ARR. Like you, I learned on-the-job. We spent 16 years growing, surviving two recessions and acquiring companies before a successful exit in 2008.
As COO I specialized in building teams that got results and a culture that people loved. I learned to get the best out of people, to create a drumbeat of execution and to keep work fun.
I’m a startup CEO specialist.
I’ve coached startup CEOs for over a decade. From seed-stage to exit, I’ve seen every phase of growth and I’ve studied what makes the best CEOs succeed.
I know firsthand the struggles and stress of scaling a business. I’ve even studied Impostor Syndrome in Startup CEOs in my research paper at Columbia University. I used my experience to design my coaching product exclusively for startup CEOs and I tailor my work to each client.
I’m a professionally-certified coach, four times over.
My lifelong goal is to master my craft so I train constantly to be the best coach I can be. I hoard coaching certifications and each took 1-2 years of study and practice to graduate.

I pour my energy into competing.
I love my work life in New York and San Francisco, but when I’m not coaching I’m likely on my bike or running in the mountains of Colorado. My clients will tell you I have a lot of energy and I channel it into sports and competition. I’ve completed 5 Ironman triathlons and I compete in indoor bike races every week. I’m lucky enough to be married to another fierce competitor who is also the love of my life.
